There are a maximum of 2 dogs which are allowed on every pitch of the Red Squirrel Touring area that is located near the dog walking area.

Rules for Dogs Touring in Kelling Heath Wildlife AreaYou must be aware that your dog will have to be on a leash at all times and under no circumstances can you leave them unattended. You should also clean up after your dog. There are bins placed all over for this purpose.

Dogs are allowed to walk through all parts of the park as long they are kept under control and are on a leash all the times.

There are some types of dogs which are not allowed in Kelling Heath. This is a necessary precaution in order to ensure the wellbeing and safety of the guests there. The dogs which are not permitted include the pit bull terrier, dogo argentino, Japanese tosa, fila braziliero, or any cross breeds with these breeds.

If you have any doubts about whether the pet is going to be permitted into the park or not, please get in touch with them before booking and getting the confirmation via phone or fax.

Also, the park authorities reserve the right to ask the owner of any dog (irrespective of which breed they are) that is creating a nuisance, or making it difficult for other guests, to remove the dog from the park right away.

So, as long as you have a nice dog who obeys your commands and doesn’t get out of control, you should not have any problems taking them along with you to the park. The only thing you need to be careful about is ensuring you do not cause any trouble to others. If you can ensure this, you can have a nice day with your four legged friend at the Kelling Heath wildlife area.
